LIVERMORE, CA — Get a real Christmas tree this year? Be sure to leave it on your curb in the coming days.

Christmas tree pickup began Monday and will continue through Jan. 15, on your regularly scheduled pickup day.

Be sure to remove lights, decorations, tree stands and leave your tree unwrapped. If it's taller than five feet, cut it into smaller pieces, according to Livermore Sanitation.
