Livermore Names New Ambassadog
Oreo, whose owner is Lawrence Livermore Director Kim Budil, is the city's official new canine mascot.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore has an adorable new leader, and she loves to run around outside and get treats. The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District and Valley Humane Society recently announced that Siberian Husky Oreo will serve as the 2025 Livermore Ambassadog.
Oreo joined her family in 2020, and loves Sycamore Grove Park, Alden Lane Nursery, and even at the Lawrence-Livermore National Laboratory, where she attends events.
“We are thrilled to see Oreo take on this role,” said Melanie Sadek, Valley Humane Society President. “Oreo embodies the values of compassion and companionship that guide our work, and we look forward to her contributions to our community.”
