Livermore Stabbing Homicide Suspect Arrested: Police
Livermore police arrested a 30-year-old man with an active warrant accused of stabbing his 55-year-old roommate to death.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a 30-year-old man suspected of stabbing his roommate to death.
On Monday, police responded to a welfare check at a home on the 1000 block of North P Street, according to the Livermore Police Department to locate a 55-year-old man who hadn't been seen since last Friday. Inside the home, officers reportedly found a 55-year-old man dead with apparent stab wounds. The LPD Criminal Investigations Bureau assumed the case and identified the suspect as 30-year-old Brayam Chrinos, the victim's roommate.
On Tuesday at around 9:15 a.m., with the assistance of the San Francisco Police Department, Chirinos was located driving the victim's vehicle in San Francisco. He was arrested without incident and booked into Santa Rita Jail on one count of homicide, police said.

Chrinos has an extensive criminal history that include prior arrests in both Texas and Florida for assault, domestic violence, false imprisonment, and DUI. He also has an active warrant in Florida for battery and violation of probation.
The case has been turned over to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, police said. The name of the victim will be released pending notification of next of kin.
