Livermore Stabbing Suspect Arrested After Fleeing
Livermore police arrested a 19-year-old resident with an outstanding warrant for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a 19-year-old with an active Ramey arrest warrant in connection with a 2024 stabbing incident.
A Livermore officer spotted suspect Adan Parra-Ruiz on Saturday while patrolling the area near Pine Street and Rincon Avenue, according to the Livermore Police Department. The officer initiated a stop, and Parra-Ruiz attempted to flee on a bicycle.
Additional officers responded and coordinated a containment perimeter. Parra-Ruiz was ultimately located on Chestnut Street, where he was taken into custody and arrested on the outstanding warrant of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, and resisting arrest.
