Livermore 'Tip A Cop' To Raise Money For Special Olympics
Livermore police officers will serve meals Thursday at Strizzi's to raise money for Special Olympic athletes.

LIVERMORE, CA — If you’ve ever been curious what it’s like to be waited on by police officers, you’re in luck. On Thursday, the Livermore Police Department is hosting a “Tip-A-Cop” event at Strizzi’s Restaurant. Officers will serve meals, and all of the tips they receive will be donated to the Special Olympics of Northern California, which they do each year.
The money will be used to provide local Special Olympics athletes with free year-round sports training opportunities.
Thursday’s event will take place from 5-8 p.m. at Strizzi’s Restaurant at 2205 First Street in Livermore.
