Livermore's 'Stuff The Cruiser' Gathers Supplies For 300 Students
Backpacks, notebooks, crayons and dozens more items were collected for students across Livermore.
LIVERMORE, CA — Around 300 students in grades K-12 will be able to access free backpacks and school supplies thanks to donations made to the Livermore Police Department this week.
"Stuff the Cruiser," which was held Aug. 13 by the Livermore Police Department, invited community members to donate school supplies such as crayons, paper, backpacks and more.
In hopes of "stuffing" police vehicles, patrol cars accepting donations were parked at CVS, Big Lots, Office Max and Walmart on Saturday and Sunday.
