Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy Completes $25M In Renovations, Hosting Wednesday Open House

The community is invited to view new and renovated classrooms, labs, a library, research center, playground, and more.

LIVERMORE, CA — Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy is hosting an open house Wednesday to show off its $25 million renovation.

Improvements include:

  • New and renovated classrooms
  • STEAM labs
  • Research center
  • A new library for STEAM's magnet program
  • A new parking lot and drop-area
  • Field renovations
  • Futsal courts
  • A new TK playground

The renovations were made possible through state bond funding that reimbursed LVJUSD for work originally financed the Measure J Bond passed in 2016. With the completion of this project, LVJUSD has finished its final major facilities improvement using funds tied to Measure J. Accessing additional state funds for districtwide facility improvements will require residents' approval of a new bond.
