If you ever spot a mountain lion, the National Park Service has the following advice:
- Stay calm. Face the lion, stand up, and back away slowly.
- Do not approach them.
- Do not run from them.
- Do not crouch down or bend over.
If the lion moves in your direction or acts aggressively, try to appear intimidating by raising your arm, and speaking in a loud voice.
