Livermore Election Results: Nop Leads Marchand By 123 Votes
Nop reversed an early, narrow lead from Marchand. In the council races, Branning led Wahrer and Barrientos led Chiong.

LIVERMORE, CA –The polls are closed in Livermore, and preliminary totals showed Mony Nop narrowly leading former mayor John Marchand in the race for mayor, Evan Branning leading Carol Wahrer for District 1; Ben Barrientos leading Mel Chiong for District 2; Prusso, Bueno, and Drouin leading the LVJUSD Board race. Measure G, a $450 million school bond, is losing narrowly, while Measure P, which will extend sewer services, is leading comfortably.

Livermore voters are weighing on a new mayor, city council members school board members, a bond to fund school construction, a bond to extend sewer services, and more:
- Mayor: Mony Nop reversed Marchand's lead as of 11:54 p.m. Tuesday. Nop won 6,166 votes, while Marchand won 6,043. For much of Tuesday night, Marchand held a narrow lead over Nop.
- City Council District 1: Evan Branning is competing against Carol Wahrer. As of 10 p.m., Branning led Wahrer 1,204 to 889.
- City Council District 2: Mel Chiong is competing against Ben Barrientos. As of 10 p.m., Barrientos led Chiong 1,462 to 1,086.
- Livermore Joint Unified School District Board: Incumbents Craig Bueno, Emily Prusso, and Anne E. White are facing challengers Steven Drouin, Alexandria Izarrara, Deena Kaplanis, John M. Kupski, Kristina Mazaika and Hayden Sidun. As of 10 p.m., Prusso, Bueno and Drouin have the three highest vote totals (respectively 5,869; 5,457; 4,507.)
- Measure G: A $450 million school bond to continue work on Phase 2 of the Facilities Master Plan. As of 10 p.m., 6,179 voted against the bond, and 5,749 voted in favor of it.
- Measure P: A proposed ordinance to extend sewer services within the South Livermore Valley Area Plan Planning Area. As of 10 p.m., 7,437 voted in favor of the bond, and 4,012 voted against it.
