UPDATE: Power Restored After Outages in Town
Livermore residents on Thursday morning reported power outages.

Roughly 12,000 PG&E customers from Livermore to Antioch were affected by a power outage Thursday morning, a PG&E spokeswoman said.
The outage was reported at 6:30 a.m., PG&E spokeswoman Fiona Chan said. Within 15 minutes, power was restored to all but 1,800 customers, she said.

As of 7:45 a.m., all but 100 customers had their power back, Chan said. Power was fully restored by 9 a.m.
The cause of the outage has not yet been determined, but Chan said it was so widespread because a high-voltage power line connecting substations went out.
