Livermore Police Investigate 2 Reports Of Shots Fired, 1 Hour Apart

LIVERMORE, CA — Shell casings were found near the parking lot of Livermore Downs Park Friday night, police said.

There were no reports of injuries or damage in the park at 2110 Paseo Laguna Seco.

Several people called dispatchers to report hearing shots fired near the park around 10:40 p.m., said police spokesperson Joanna Johnson in an email.

Police said it's unclear if this incident is related to another report of shots fired in Livermore earlier that police received an hour earlier that night.

Shell casings were recovered in a residential neighborhood near Granada High School. No injuries were reported and no damage was discovered.
