Sig-Alert Issued After Major Crash In Livermore

Commuters are asked to take I-580 home.

LIVERMORE, CA — Commuters were asked to take Interstate 580 home Thursday night after a major crash that spurred a Sig-alert.

The alert was issued around 2:30 p.m. by the California Highway Patrol's Dublin office. The crash was blocking lanes east of Livermore, at Patterson Pass Road east of Cross Road.
