State Route 84 Closure Scheduled Friday Night

Here's an announcement provided by Caltrans:

On Friday, June 29th Caltrans will close southbound and northbound State Route 84 in Livermore between Jack London Boulevard and Stanley Boulevard OR between Stanley Boulevard and Concannon Boulevard from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday in order to install K-rail in preparation for construction. Detours will be posted.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and encouraged to take alternate routes if necessary. Motorists are also advised that traffic fines are doubled in construction zones.
