Suspected Meth Dealer Arrested In Livermore: Police

LIVERMORE, CA — A man was arrested Wednesday morning in Livermore on suspicion of possessing large amount of methamphetamine, according to the Livermore Police Department.

At around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Livermore police conducted a traffic stop near First Street and Las Positas Road. The police canine reportedly alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the car. Officers say the search revealed 58 grams of methamphetamine and a large amount of cash.

Jose Rodriguez of Oakland was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine for sale.
