Suspects Steal More Than $2K From Livermore Ross Stores: Police

LIVERMORE, CA — A man and a woman were arrested in Livermore on suspicion of stealing over $2,000 in merchandise from the Ross store on Jack London Boulevard, according to the Livermore Police Department.

On Aug. 21, Livermore police were called to Ross for an in-progress shoplifting, the department said. Officers contacted the suspect, 23-year-old Brandon Arellanomejorada of Fremont as he exited the store with the merchandise. 23-year-old Maria Medinaramos was found hiding in a clothing rack, police said.

Investigators allege that the pair also stole items from the Ross on Las Positas Road, which they allegedly found in the suspect vehicle. Both suspects were booked into Santa Rita Jail.
