Teens Arrested In Connection With Car Thefts In Livermore, Danville
Several agencies arrested a 16 and 17-year-old accused of stealing and trying to steal multiple Infiniti cars around the Tri-Valley.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police helped identify and arrest a 16 and 17-year-old accused of stealing and attempting to steal several cars throughout the city in October.
Between Oct. 17 and 19, the LPD received several reports of stolen Infiniti vehicles and multiple attempted vehicle thefts throughout the city, according to a department news release. Police identified a possible suspect vehicle registered in Richmond. The department's Crime Prevention Unit identified a 16-year-old from Richmond and a 17-year-old from San Pablo as suspects, and also determined that one of them was allegedly connected to several stolen vehicles in Danville. Police issued Ramey warrants for both suspects.
On Dec. 4, the Contra Costa County SWAT Team served a warrant at the Richmond home of one of the suspects. Livermore police located a carbon-fiber Infiniti hood confirmed to have been stolen from Livermore and installed on the suspect vehicle. That suspect was arrested by the Danville Police Department and booked into Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall.

The CPU continued its investigation and arrested the 17-year-old at his home in San Pablo. He was booked on multiple charges, including four counts of vehicle theft, seven counts of conspiracy, and three counts of attempted vehicle theft.
