LIVERMORE, CA — Three separate construction projects in Livermore starting Tuesday will likely result in a series of temporary road and trail closures, the city said.

Stream maintenance begins Tuesday and is expected to finish by late October. The project involves bank stabilization and removal of debris and vegetation at the Arroyo Mocho bridge crossing Holmes Street, and will result in temporary road and trail closures. See here for more information.

Sewer Replacement: Starting Tuesday, the city will replace and repair about 3,500 feet of sewer pipe in the area around Holmes Street and South S Street. This may cause temporary road closures and possible utility interruptions. Work is scheduled to finish by March.

Storm Drain Trash Capture: Starting next week, crews will install an underground trash capture device on Holmes Street south of Aaron Street, which may result in temporary closures. Work is expected to finish by Monday, Nov. 10. The project is mandated by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board to reduce the amount of trash washed into creeks during storms.
