Unlicensed Driver Crashes Into Livermore Market
Police believe the woman confused the brake pedal with the gas pedal.

LIVERMORE, CA — No injuries were reported after a woman driving without a driver’s license crashed into the Consuelito Market on Olivina Avenue in Livermore Thursday afternoon, police said.
The driver was a 30-year-old woman from Livermore who police said did not have a driver’s license. They believe she confused the brake pedal for the gas pedal when she was trying to park and accelerated into the market.

Both the driver and her husband were cited with misdemeanor charges. The husband was cited for allowing the woman to drive his car without a license.
