Volunteers Make 600 Masks For First Responders: Livermore Hero

We all know someone who's making a difference in this difficult time. Let's help share these amazing stories!

LIVERMORE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. And Tri-Valley is full of them.

We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?:
Coordinates women's sewing group called Together in Service at FPCL.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She coordinates and supports women volunteers in Together in Service at First Presbyterian Church, which has made over 600 masks for medical workers, veterinarian offices, Red Cross, VA Hospital, Care Facilities, Senior Living places, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as baby hats and large hats/scarves for Axis Health Care and shawls & quilts for cancer patients.
