1 Dead, Officers Injured In Crash On Long Beach Freeway: Report
A police pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle crashed on the 710 Freeway, leaving one person dead and multiple officers injured.
LONG BEACH, CA — One person was killed and multiple California Highway Patrol officers were injured as a result of a police chase that ended in Long Beach on Monday, according to reports.
The police pursuit began on the southbound 710 Freeway at around 2 a.m. and quickly came to an end after the suspect crashed on the transition road to the 405 Freeway, according to Fox 11. One person died at the scene and CHP officers were hospitalized.
It is unknown why the pursuit began and no additional information about the incident was available.
