LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police are investigating a stabbing that happened late Sunday night.A local hospital reported to police after a patient was admitted with a non-fatal stab wound in his lower body. Preliminary investigation results indicate that the victim was walking in the area of Walnut Avenue and Sunshine Court when a man walked past him and stabbed him. No suspect information was known, police said.Officers from the Long Beach Police Department canvassed the area but said they were unable to locate a crime scene. The motive for the stabbing is also unknown and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
