LONG BEACH, CA — A man suffered a gunshot wound to the lower body during a drive-by shooting Sunday morning in Long Beach, authorities said. Officers were dispatched at about 2:50 a.m. Sunday to the 600 block of West Anaheim Street, the Long Beach Police Department reported.Police said the victim and a woman were standing outside when they were approached by a vehicle and an unknown suspect in the vehicle fired at the victims, striking the man.The vehicle fled the scene and no other injuries were reported. The man was expected to survive his wounds.No suspect description was immediately available.— City News Service
