Man Wounded in Early Morning Shooting in Coolidge Triangle

A man was wounded in a shooting in the Coolidge Triangle area of Long Beach early Saturday morning, police said.
The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. near White Avenue and Harcourt Street in the Coolidge Triangle area, said Long Beach police Sgt. Aaron Eaton.
Officers were in the area responding to a report of a loud party when they heard gunshots and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Eaton said.
The man was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not available, Eaton said.
No suspect information was available and it was unclear whether the shooting was gang-related, he said.
Investigators do not believe the shooting and the party were related, Eaton said.
