LOS ANGELES, CA — One person died after a home caught on fire Saturday in Glassell Park, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

It was not immediately clear if there were other injuries or fatalities.

Firefighters knocked down the fire at 2603 W. Crestmoore Place Saturday that destroyed one of three buildings and damaged a second one.

The blaze was reported at 9:50 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said. Identifying information about the person who died was not immediately available.

The cause of the fire was under investigation Saturday, authorities said.
