1 Hospitalized After Shooting Near Exposition Park In Los Angeles

The shooting happened just south of the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A person was hospitalized in unknown condition Sunday after being shot near Exposition Park in Los Angeles.

The shooting was reported just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, near Vermont Avenue, just south of the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspect was described as a man in his 40s in a gray shirt and armed with a handgun, police said. He was last seen driving south on Vermont in a 2005 to 2010 Ford Explorer.
