1 Killed, 3 Seriously Injured In Northridge Crash
A motorcyclist died at the scene of a crash in Northridge Wednesday night, and three others were hospitalized.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with another vehicle in Northridge Wednesday night, and three other people were hospitalized with serious injuries.
The crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. in the 9900 block of Tampa Avenue, near Lassen Street, according to Margaret Stewart, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"The motorcyclist was beyond medical help and determined deceased on scene," said Stewart. "Three patients are being transported in serious condition."

The ages and genders of the patients were not immediately known, she added.
Authorities withheld the name the biker killed in the crash pendning notification of the person's family.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
