10 Arrested As Police Dismantle Burglary Crew Credited With 100 LA County Heists

Authorities say they've dismantled the prolific "Rich Rollin Burglary Crew."

LOS ANGELES, CA — Ten suspected members of a prolific burglary crew police say were responsible for nearly 100 residential heists throughout Los Angeles County over the last three years have been arrested.

With the arrests, authorities say they've dismantled the so-called “Rich Rollin Burglary Crew," which is linked to at least 92 residential burglaries in the LA area since 2022. Most of the heists occurred in 2024 and 2025, the Los Angeles Police Department announced.

“What made this takedown possible was the outstanding work of our officers and detectives — communicating across divisions and bureaus, sharing intelligence, and connecting the dots that revealed these burglaries were tied to the same crew. This operation is the result of more than two years of relentless investigative work," LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said.

Police say the investigation gained momentum in February, when three suspects were arrested after a police pursuit of a van connected to two burglaries that occurred the day before. "Detectives used information obtained from that arrest to identify additional suspects," police said.

About two months later, detectives served a search warrant at a LA home, where they seized rifles, handguns, ammunition, body armor, large-capacity magazines, jewelry, watches, stolen credit cards, fake IDs and multiple license plates. Police said that evidence directly tied the crew to organized burglary activity.

On Wednesday at 5 p.m., the LAPD served warrants simultaneously at eight homes in LA, Hawthorne, Inglewood and Carson, police said. Eight suspects were subsequently arrested on various charges: Devon Collier, 37; Tyrone Tisby, 47; Frank Tisby, 38; Jeremy Shepard, 38; Jermaine Kimbrough, 22; Michael Lewis, 20; and Marquell Lewis, 26.

During the searches, investigators recovered 15 guns — including some reported stolen from burglaries — ammunition and high-capacity magazines, including a 50-round handgun drum, police said.

They also seized what police identified as burglary tools: handheld radios, face masks, headlamps, window punch devices and cans of bear mace, the LAPD said.

Authorities recovered stolen property, including luxury watches, bracelets, high-end purses and luggage, wallets and U.S. and foreign currency, police said.

Detectives also seized drugs, a money counter and multiple cell phones, police said.

"The seized evidence provides a direct link between the burglary crew and their crimes, strengthening the criminal cases against them," the LAPD said.

Prior to the search warrants being served, police arrested Eric Cannon, 40, who surrendered on Friday in response to an active warrant, police said.

Two other men were already in custody on murder charges: Anthony Leslie, 26, and Shawn Quinney, 36, police said.

“At the District Attorney’s Office, we are committed to protecting our communities and will use every tool under the law, including strikes and sentencing enhancements, to hold these defendants fully accountable," LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said. "My office will not hesitate to seek the maximum penalties under the law. If you commit these crimes, you are choosing prison over freedom — possibly for life.”
