The crash happened Friday night just north of the Gramercy Park neighborhood, according to authorities.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification of a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Friday.

Police say 62-year-old Danny Estis was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk around 9:12 p.m. in the area of Western Avenue and 83rd Street when someone driving an SUV hit him.

Whoever was in the SUV kept driving and was last seen going northbound on Western Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Estis, meanwhile, died at the scene, police said.
