6 Suspects Flee Scene Of Fatal Shooting: LAPD

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was shot to death Sunday morning in the Fashion District of downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at about 5 a.m. Sunday in the area of 11th and Los Angeles streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

It was not immediately clear if the victim died at the scene or at a hospital.

The person who notified authorities reported that his brother had been shot, according to Officer Norma Eisenman, who added that six suspects wearing dark clothing were seen fleeing the location in a vehicle.

No further information was immediately available.
