81-Year-Old Terrorized Neighbors With Slingshot For A Decade: Police

AZUSA, CA — An 81-year-old man used a slingshot to terrorize a San Gabriel Valley neighborhood for years, according to police.

Prince Raymond King was arrested Thursday, police said.

Over the course of nine or 10 years, dozens of people in the 900 block of North Enid Avenue in Azusa were victims of the serial slingshot shooter, according to police. The attacker broke windows and windshields, and nearly hit people with ball bearings, police said.

On Thursday, investigators served a search warrant at King’s home in the area, recovering ball bearings and a slingshot, according to police.

King is due in court Tuesday in West Covina, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
