Low-Cost Airline Adds Burbank To Las Vegas Flights For $57
Travelers between the Southland and Las Vegas will soon have more cheap options for flights.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines will begin offering flights between Hollywood Burbank Airport and Las Vegas next month, the company announced Wednesday.
The nonstop flights will be offered between the two airports on Fridays and Sundays in each direction beginning May 3, with introductory fares of $57 each way.
Avelo launched in 2021 with Burbank as its first base, with a focus on offering flights between smaller airports in the West. It also operates flights between eastern cities.

The new flights between Burbank and Las Vegas come after the airline offered them on a one-off basis for the Super Bowl. Las Vegas is the 14th destination fliers can access from Burbank.
“We were very encouraged by the strong Customer response we received when we offered special flights between BUR and LAS for football’s big game in February. We look forward to offering travelers Avelo’s everyday affordability, convenience, and reliability between these two vibrant cities," Avelo CEO Andrew Levy said.

The Burbank airport is a Southland favorite alternative to the chaos of LAX; Southwest and Spirit Airlines both offer flights between Burbank and Las Vegas.
“Our passengers know how easy it is to fly from Hollywood Burbank Airport to Las Vegas,” said Frank Miller, executive director of Hollywood Burbank Airport. “We are pleased that Avelo Airlines is making it even more convenient for travelers to do so.”
In order to take advantage of the $57 introductory fares, customers must book flights by April 10 and travel must be completed by July 31, Avelo said.
