LANCASTER, CA — Authorities are investigating the death of a 2-month-old baby Sunday in Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Emergency personnel responded around 8:15 a.m. to the home in the 44000 block of Beech Avenue for a report of an infant who wasn’t breathing, authorities said, adding the boy did not survive.

Paramedics were dispatched to the home but did not take anyone to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
