Body Fished Out Of San Pedro Harbor
Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found floating in the water Monday afternoon in San Pedro.
SAN PEDRO, CA — A body was found Monday in the water in the harbor area of San Pedro.
The body was found about 2:40 p.m. in the area of Berth 95, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Police said the body was that of a male and that it was believed to have been in the water more than a day.

The body was retrieved by firefighters in a boat, Stewart said.
The coroner's office was investigating the fatality and attempting to make a positive identification, police said.
