ROSEMEAD, CA — A brush fire burned about two acres Friday in Rosemead.
The fire was reported early Friday afternoon in a riverbed near the Whittier Narrows Golf Course in the 8600 block of Rush Street.
Firefighters appeared to gain the upper hand on the flames within about an hour, but remained on scene dousing hot spots. There were no reports of injuries or structural damage.
