Burglar Caught On Camera Before Stealing Equipment From Pasadena Little League
A man was caught on camera scouting out equipment he later stole from a Pasadena youth baseball league, officials said.
PASADENA, CA — A burglar was caught on camera before stealing thousands of dollars in baseball gear and maintenance equipment from a Pasadena Southwest Little League shed in Allendale Park, according to league officials.
"To the person who did this: You didn't just steal equipment, you stole from a community of children who show up every day with heart, hustle, and hope," they wrote in a Facebook post.
Police told reporters the theft was reported Saturday and a search for the man suspected of stealing equipment was underway. A security camera caught images of the man breaking into the league's snack shed. Photos and video were included with the league's Facebook post.

"We are able to still play baseball, the kids will still play," league board member George Hasbun told ABC 7. "We just won't be able to maintain the field and we'll have to gather some funds and try to get some new equipment for the field so we can replace all the lost stuff."
As of Monday, no arrests have been made and the league continued to urge members of the community to help spread the word and contact Pasadena police with any information.
