Canada's Beloved Big Way Hot Pot Makes Its U.S. Debut in Los Angeles
Immersive Hot Pot experience where guests build their own bowls from 80+ fresh, premium ingredients.
From Canada to California, Big Way Hot Pot has arrived in Rowland Heights and debuts this Sunday, July 20. The 5,000 square-foot flagship transforms the fast-casual dining experience into something immersive, elevated and atmospheric. Upon entering one will notice eye-catching murals, richly weighted gold pot presentation, matching sculptural flatware, and a gallery-grade tea lounge .
To kick off the first USA opening, Canada’s cult-favorite DIY restaurant chain is having the TikTok sensation Labubu giveaway for 30 days. One Labubu box will be awarded to one guest every day through August 18, 2025.
On July 20, guests who spend $20+ (before tax) will get 1 lucky dip draw to win over 500 prizes up for grabs. Prizes include Labubu blind boxes, exclusive Big Way merchandise and Hotpot vouchers and treats. Just become a Big Way Hot Pot free rewards member.

Starting on July 21, every guest who comes in and spends a minimum of $35 (before tax) on a single receipt, can drop their receipt into the designated draw box to enter. Multiple entries are allowed with separate receipts. The drawing is held the following morning by 11 a.m., and the winner will be announced on @bigway.hotpot Instagram Story. Winners will also be contacted using the email or phone number linked to their membership.

The menu's creative philosophy encourages guests to be creative when building their own bowls. There are 80+ fresh, premium ingredients and many vegan-friendly options. Select from ten different slow simmered signature broths (several simmer for 8+ hours a day) or dry mix, spice-forward options. Each step is approachable even for hot pot newcomers without sacrificing the depth and nuance of traditional flavors.
Pair your meal with a wide-range of drinks including boba, sparkling fruit teas, creamy milk blends and cheese foam toppers.

Big Way Hot Pot was founded in Vancouver, B.C. in 2022. There are now 13 British Columbia locations, plus 2 in Ontario, Canada, and two to open in California (first Rowland Heights on July 20, and the second in Monterey Park soon). The brand wants to open 28 Big Way Hot Pot locations in North America by the end of 2025.
