Cara Cara Offers DTLA Rooftop Lunch And Dinner For Dine LA
Located atop the Downtown LA Proper Hotel, Cara Cara offers seasonal bites, sweeping views and craft cocktails.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Cara Cara in downtown Los Angeles is among the 480 eateries participating in Dine LA, which runs through Aug. 8.
The restaurant — perched atop the Downtown LA Proper Hotel — is offering both lunch and dinner menu's for restaurant week. Executive Chef Tiffany dela Pena told Patch the menus "were designed to showcase bold flavors and a sense of fun."
"Guests can expect a vibrant rooftop atmosphere paired with dishes like our chipotle cauliflower tacos, which are crispy, smoky, and layered with flavor, and the two cheeses with charred dates, which offer a perfect balance of sweet and savory," she said.

For dessert, we’re serving our seasonal strawberries and cream paleta and a decadent German chocolate cheesecake. Whether you join us for lunch or dinner, we wanted to create a menu that feels vibrant, fresh, and uniquely LA," she added.
The prix fixe Dine LA lunch menu is $45, while the dinner menu is $65.

Dine LA, the region's twice-annual restaurant week, runs from July 25 to Aug. 8. Diners are invited to enjoy special prix fixe lunch and dinner menus — the multi-corse offerings range in price from $15 to $65 and more.
