Carjacking Suspects Lead Police On 130 MPH Chase
The wild chase crossed several freeways from the Hollywood Hills and through the Valley Friday morning.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A trio of carjacking suspects were arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase across the San Fernando Valley Friday morning.
The wild chase crisscrossed busy freeways, exceeding speeds of 100 mph on the Ventura (101) Freeway and reaching 130 mph on the Hollywood (170) Freeway Friday morning, Fox11 reported.
The chase began shortly before 9 a.m. in the Sherman Oaks area near Sunset Boulevard and the San Diego (405) Freeway and passed through Valley Glen and North Hollywood to Sun Valley.

The driver slammed into trash cans and got stuck in rush hour traffic before surrendering to police at the intersection of Runnymede Street and Lankershim Boulevard, FOX11 reported. Authorities arrested the driver and a female passenger, then a second passenger after a brief foot chase.
The three were arrested on suspicion of carjacking and are being investigated by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in connection with a series of robberies, said Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Drake Madison.
