Coroner IDs Biker, 17, Killed In Crash With Vehicle In East LA

Coroner's officials Saturday released the name of a teenager who was killed in a crash while.

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA — Coroner's officials Saturday released the name of a 17-year-old boy who was killed in a crash with a vehicle while riding a motorcycle in East Los Angeles.

The boy was identified as Nathan Loza, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office website. A spokesperson could not be reached to determine Loza's place of residence.

The crash was reported at 9:48 p.m. last Sunday at Whittier and Atlantic boulevards, according to Officer Stephan Brandt of the California Highway Patrol.

A witness reported the rider was on the ground, unresponsive and bleeding.

Paramedics began CPR at the scene and took Loza to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Brandt said.
