Dine LA Restaurant Week Returns With Special Menus, Wildfire Benefit

Hundreds of local restaurants across LA County are offering special lunch and dinner menus at a range of prices.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Eat up, Los Angeles: The region's twice-annual Dine LA Restaurant Week returned Friday with special menus — and prices — at hundreds of local restaurants over the next 15 days.

The lineup includes 400 participating restaurants offering special prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus at a range of price points from $15 to $65+. Some 30 global cuisines are represented, according to Dine LA.

“You can get anything from tacos to Thai food to a Michelin-rated meal,” Stacey Sun, executive director of Dine LA told the Los Angeles Daily News. “Dine LA provides a way for people to explore new neighborhoods and go to that restaurant that’s always been on your list.”

As the region recovers from the recent wildfires, Dine LA producer LA Tourism will donate $5 to the American Red Cross for each reservation made through the Dine LA website, with a match from Banc of California, for a total donation of up to $100,000, organizers said.

While the Palisades and Eaton fires destroyed many beloved restaurants in Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Altadena, some restaurants near the fire-impacted areas have reopened and are participating in Dine LA. That includes Carbon Beach Club, The Sunset Restaurant and Zinqué in Malibu and 25 restaurants in Pasadena.
