Dog Set On Fire In LA Homeless Encampment Faces Long Recovery
"He's still so young and has already been through so much, yet he continues to amaze us with his sweetness and courage," the rescue said.

LOS ANGELES — A dog named Luke is on a long journey toward recovery after he was set on fire at a homeless encampment in South Los Angeles, according to his rescuers.
The incident occurred around two weeks ago on Florence Avenue, KTLA reported, adding that Luke is about 1 year old and a Shepherd mix.
He will need to stay in intensive care for at least six weeks and is on constant oxygen support due to smoke inhalation, according to a GoFundMe to support his care, which had received more than $10,000 in contributions as of Monday.
