Dog Trapped Between Buildings Rescued By LA Firefighters

Firefighters were notified of the situation while finishing a medical response nearby and were able to safely retrieve the dog.

LOS ANGELES — Firefighters came to the aid of a stuck pup and its owner Wednesday afternoon in Tujunga, according to authorities.

"Firefighters helped a man recover his beloved pet," the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a social media post. "The large canine was trapped in a narrow space between two buildings on Wednesday afternoon. The dog is believed to have been stuck overnight, after trying to flee the sounds of fireworks."

Firefighters were notified of the situation while finishing a medical response nearby and were able to safely retrieve the dog, who did not appear injured, according to authorities.
