Driver Shot In Venice Boulevard Road-Rage Shooting
A driver was shot Wednesday night in what police believe was a road-rage shooting.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was wounded in what police believe was a road rage shooting in Mid-City, police said Thursday.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on Venice Boulevard near La Cienega Boulevard where the victim told police another driver stopped and pulled up behind him. At some point, the second driver drew a gun and fired several shots at the victim, striking him in the arm, LAPD Officer Charles Miller told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel took the victim to a hospital in stable condition.

The shooter, who sped away from the scene, was driving a black Hyundai, Miller said.
It was not known what prompted the shooting.
