LOS ANGELES, CA — It's no surprise that an eight-hour Spirit Airlines flight delay at Hollywood Burbank Airport led to a meltdown this week. What's surprising is just who did the screaming.

A beleaguered Spirit Airlines employee who lost her patience with the impatient crowd screamed her frustration in a rant captured on video.

“Can I have everybody’s attention right now!” shouts the apparent gate agent. “Do you all wanna get on this flight or not?”

When the passengers yell back, she keeps going.

“All right! Everyone’s gonna shut up, and we’re gonna say this once, and we’re only gonna say it again because we’re frustrated as hell.”

The video shows a combination of stunned travelers and others raising their fists and cheering after hearing the employee voice their own frustration.

Spirit Airlines was less forgiving and reportedly suspended two employees involved in the outburst.

"We apologize to our Guests for this experience, which does not reflect Spirit's high standards for Guest service," the airline said in a statement to Inside Edition, which first aired the video.
