Fake Blood Drips At LACMA; LAPD Issues Dispersal Order
An abortion rights protest near LACMA shut down traffic and prompted a dispersal order Thursday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Police Department issued a dispersal area around Wilshire Boulevard and Ogden Street after abortion rights protesters poured fake blood around the iconic Los Angeles County Museum Of Art lampposts.
The first dispersal order was issued around 3:25 p.m. and a second around 4:18 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The area was completely cleared by 4:30 p.m.
The abortion rights protesters began their demonstration around 12 p.m., at which point a pair of vets chained themselves to the lamppost installation at the LACMA amid a sea of body bags, hangers and fake blood in an attempt to bring attention to the lives that will be affected by the U.S. Supreme Court's overturning Roe v. Wade.
