Firefighters Stop Brush Fire At Hansen Dam

Firefighters quickly attacked a quarter-acre brush fire burning at Hansen Dam Saturday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters quickly attacked a quarter-acre brush fire burning at Hansen Dam Saturday.

The fire was reported about 2:20 p.m. Saturday in medium to heavy brush near 10953 N. Dronfield Ave. with winds at 5-10 mph, said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Margaret Stewart.

"There are no structures threatened," Stewart said. "Firefighters on scene will handle with no expectation for additional resources required."
