Former Employee Suspected Of Shooting 2 At LA County College Campus
The suspect was reportedly seen wearing a security uniform before fleeing.
INGLEWOOD, CA — A former employee of an aviation training institute suspected of shooting two women at its Inglewood campus Friday was arrested.
Both victims were taken to a hospital in critical condition, CBS 2 reported.
The shooting occurred around 3:45 p.m. Friday inside an office on the campus of the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in the 8900 block of Aviation Boulevard, between Arbor Vitae Street and Hillcrest Boulevard, authorities said.

KTLA 5 reported the suspect -- a former employee of the college -- barricaded inside a building before he fled the campus. He was allegedly wearing an outfit that resembled a security uniform, according to Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts, the station reported.
The suspect was arrested in Koreatown, ABC 7 reported. CBS 2 reported the suspect's family contacted authorities and told them suspect had shot the women.

Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene to establish a perimeter to conduct separate investigations.
The Inglewood mayor described the shooting as an act of "workplace violence."
According to Butts, initial reports indicated that the suspect was armed with a rifle.
Butts confirmed that a 9mm shell casing was found at the scene and noted that DNA or fingerprint evidence may be present on it.
The suspect's name was not released and it was unclear what motivated the shooting.
