Grass Fire Extinguished In Eagle Rock
A grass fire broke out in Eagle Rock Thursday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters extinguished a grass fire that broke out on the side of the 2 Freeway Thursday afternoon.
The quarter-acre fire broke out on the side of the northbound 2 Freeway at the Colorado Boulevard offramp near the 134 Freeway interchange in Eagle Rock at around 3 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters circled the perimeter of the fire to prevent its spread and quickly extinguished the blaze.
