Griffith Park Fire Contained
Los Angeles firefighters have contained a 2 acre brush fire at Griffith Park, according to the LAFD.
LOS ANGELES, CA —Los Angeles firefighters have contained a 2 acre brush fire at Griffith Park that was initially reported at 2:28 a.m. at about a quarter-acre. Fire crews were expected to continue working on steep terrain to monitor hot spots and surround the burned area by fuel breaks, which includes burning remaining brush, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz. No injuries or structural damage was reported. The cause remains under investigation.
