"Hamilton," now playing at the Pantages, is inspired by Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography and combines hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway styles to narrate the life of Alexander Hamilton (Blaine Alden Krauss), one of America's Founding Fathers. From his immigrant roots in the West Indies to becoming George Washington’s (Kameron Richardson) key aide during the Revolutionary War, the nation's first Treasury Secretary, marrying Eliza Hamilton (Kendyl Sayuri Yokoyama), and dueling with Aaron Burr (Deon’te Goodman) Hamilton’s story is both compelling and transformative.

This groundbreaking musical has earned a multitude of prestigious awards, including 11 Tony Awards, a Grammy®, several Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and a special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

"Hamilton" excels in blending a diverse array of musical genres—hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and traditional Broadway—to create a performance that not only vividly portrays the historical landscape of America but also resonates with the energy and passion of contemporary society.
